Hey peeps! Another update on The Rhetoriks‘ animated music video ‘The Demons You Created’, Tim Yu and myself, are working on. We’re at the final phase of production, and we’re due to wrap up.
This time, I’m going to mention a bit about the setting of the AMV. Tim and I decided on a Sci-Fi setting as it would fit the superhero aspect of our protagonists, technology and social structure of the world, and our antagonists. The city and the ‘ST’ building, are also like characters. Everything in the city revolves around the ‘ST’, and as a result, the city is densely overcrowded with buildings, and the air is polluted in smog produced from the ‘ST’s massive energy consumption. The people of the city are fully dependent on the ‘ST’ for their way of life, and are connected with it constantly, with a ‘Smart device’. In place of some inanimate objects/materials, ‘Holographic projections’ are used in this very digital world.
Another character in this setting , is the power of music, and the talents who create it, as well as the massive influence in the lives of the people of the city. Also, the dark side of this aspect, which has influenced what our protagonists have become, and what they are up against.
