Hey folks, and happy new year! 😀
It’s been a while, as I’ve been working on the concept designs for the RedSnow story book project, Beyond the Bounds: Mortals and Deities. I had a nice holiday season and new years, but it’s back to work, and there are other positive developments on the horizon. But let me talk more about the development of the TDYC amv, and we’ll focus on the 3 levels of the ‘Sound Tower’, where the action takes place.
Also, please check out Tim Yu’s latest post about the amv.
Each level represents a theme/aspect of what our protagonists are fighting against.
Level 1: On this level, the production of the music takes place through cattle/battery farm-style machines we call ‘MMC’s’. The talent is extracted from the musicians, converted, and sent to the next level. The conditions are inhumane, and kept a secret from the public. In public appearances, the musicians are also ‘conditioned’ from the ‘MMC’ process, and some suffer from ‘episodes’ as a result. This production line is overseen by ‘Silver’ the producer.
Level 2: This level is a representation of the fame and grandeur of the musicians success, through a grand opera house style. This also is where the musicians sign their contracts, and their souls manifest themselves into gold vintage microphones. On the main stage is a pile of golden vintage microphones which we call the ‘Music graveyard’, where former talents resides. This is overseen by ‘Gold’ the executive. Note: originally, the concept was to show that the grand opera house is a illusion, which is then broken by our protagonists to reveal it’s true nature.
Level 3: The last level comes in the form of a mega concert. Here, with the combination of extracting the musical talents, and the signed contracts from the previous levels, the music is fully formed, and played to the masses. It’s through the music, that people are encouraged to vote through the ‘Upvote music’ system, a system that requires the will of the people to function. In turn this activates the large statuesque hand, that points to a launch button. If this is successful, the ‘Sound Tower’ will be able to manipulate the entire planet, through the power of music. This distribution is overseen by ‘Platinum’ the DJ.
Ok, that wraps up this BTS for now. But before I go, I have to give a shoutout to, Hideo Kojima, as he has officially left ‘that company’ in december, and resurrected the new, Kojima Productions, as his outer heaven (and brought his comrades with him). I’m looking forward to see what his new project will be, and it’s already hinted in his logo!! 😀
But for now, let’s hope for a better new year, or better still, make it happen. Catch you later folks! 😉
